She sat by the table with her new friends, sharing her interesting stories excitedly with them.

She danced, jumped and laughed while the others smiled at her.

As they left the table, she pulled her chair to the nearest table she could find and sat down.

She looked at a stranger innocently.

“You look like my daughter……”', she said.

“…. and I miss her very much”, she continued.

Without having the ability to control her emotions, she broke down into tears.

After a blink of an eye, she was the energetic lady with smiles again.

She used to be a working adult happily married with two daughters. But all that were taken away from her now.

All that were left now are her sweet voice and some scattered memories. As soon as I leave the coffee table, her voice filled the atmosphere with a song by Karen Mok, 外面的世界.

waimian de shijie
The world outside

zai hen jiu hen jiu yiqian
A long time ago

ni yongyou wo, wo yongyou ni
You had me, and I had you

zai hen jiu hen jiu yiqian
A long time ago

ni likai wo qu yuankong aoxiang
You left me and soured far away into the sky

waimian de shijie hen jingcai
The world outside is so splendid

waimian de shijie hen wunai
The world outside is so depressing

dang ni juede waimian de shijie hen jingcai
When you feel that the world outside is so splendid

我会在这里衷心的祝福 你
wo hui zai zheli zhongxin de zhufu ni
I will be here and give you my blessings

每当 夕阳西沉的时候
mei dang xiyang xi chen de shihou
Whenever the sun sets in the west

wo zongshi zai zheli panwang ni
I always yearn for you

tiankong zhong suiran piaozhe yu
Despite the rain falling from the sky

wo yiran dengdai nide guiqi
I’m still waiting for your return

Noone will ever truly understand how it feels like to be separated from her daughter and being disowned by her own family members.

Noone to talk to, she turned to strangers each day and shared her beautiful stories.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

To all my loved one out there,

Stop worrying so much about studies or work. It’s not that end of the day if you didn’t get an A for your report card, if you fail a subject, if you can’t finish reading a note, if you’ve broken up with your BF, if your partner cheated on you or if you income is too low for you to buy an I phone.

RELAX and ENJOY your life.

Curl your hair with socks

Yeah you heard me. Curl your hair with socks! Any ordinary white cotton socks!

I saw a link on Youtube and it caught my attention:

Curious if it really works, I gave it a try.

Step 1: Make sure your hair is damp enough and start curling it with socks in a few sections at night.

Step 2: Sleep overnight.

Step 3: Remove the socks when you wake up the next morning! Smile

And here is the end result:

So socks can really curl your hair without any heat. Why don’t you give it a try? Smile

The Story of You and I ♥

The child in me came back to life and drew this last night.

It’s about the things that we did throughout 2011.

After finishing the drawing, only did I notice that most of our memories are associated with mouth-watering food. Smile

Happy New Year B!

And may we have more trees to draw! ♥

3 Days 2 Nights KL Visit by My Girls

Hui Wen, Pei Ni, Fui Ting, Rachel and Cheryl came all the way to KL to have a girls gathering.

It had been more than a year since I last met them!

Yeap! Five of them + Me squeezed into my cozy middle room for 2 nights!

The six of us. ♥

I think we spent most of our time eating and shopping.

And of course, not forgetting to enjoy the night life in KL!

The six of us all dressed up to hit the club!

It was a really fun and memorable to have the chance to spend time with you girls in KL.

We had tons of stories to share, love problems to advice and juicy gossips to announce! Hahaha.. I really miss those moments when we chatted and laughed until 4am and couldn’t wake up to get ourselves McD breakfast the next morning.

♥ ♥ ♥

And girls, we grew up from innocent pre-U students into fine young ladies together!

♥ Year 2006 ♥

♥ Year 2011 ♥

Love you girls so much!

See you all in Penang soon!

Today, for the first time in my life, my cells are attacked by colonies of heartless bacteria.

Dear bacteria,

do you know that I spent 12 hours in uni today just because of you??

What did I do to trigger you to do this to me? Why me? Why??!!

This is what that is flashing in my brain now. Images of millions bacteria in my wells!!!

I will let you win this time! HUH!!!

It’s 17th of August 2011 and I’ve been carrying out my semester 7 research since mid of June.

It has already been almost 2 months but today it’s the only day that I felt EXHAUSTED.

My cells are not really giving me the results which I want or I “hope” I can obtain

(I’ve even talked to them while I seed them, let them listen to booty shaking music, hypnotizing them…).

I really cannot predict what will happen.

Everyday there are some surprises from my babies.

And today, I spent almost 2 hours preparing dilutions for my plant extracts!

Countless times of opening and closing the small tiny little Eppendorf tubes and ended up cracking my own nail!

Poor little thumb of mine.. Sad smile

Come come, tengok yang closed up! Ew.. It has already became a broken layered cake!

I’ve prepared all together 16 tubes all together.

And at the end of preparation, I realised that my CALCULATION WAS ALL WRONG!!!!! which means that the extracts that I’ve prepared are of WRONG CONCENTRATION too!!!!

IMU Ball 2011 Preparation

99% of our class went to the IMU Ball on April 2nd.

It was my first prom and I was really excited about the whole thing! Since young I’ve been watching American movies where girls go to prom with dates, and the girl captain of the cheerleading team will always end up with a hot football team captain and they will be the prom king and queen of the night. FAIRY TALES.

I don’t have a guy to bring to the prom as my date sadly… But I am lucky enough to have awesome babes as my date! Main kayu sepuluh!

My dates went DIY and did all their make ups and hairdo themselves for the prom. Salute.

Lined up of babes, helping each other out.

Now who was the nail polish pro? Such a DAI GAH JE pose!

Le Fei was the hairstylist for Kelly and me. =)

Using a video from Youtube, Lefei did her best in making a prom hair for Kelly.

Satisfied with the result, Kelly?

Kelly, the make up artist, putting on foundation on Lefei’s face with her skillful hands (look at her fast moving hands!)

Somehow I felt like someone is getting married and I was the bridesmaid that night. Hahaha.

Kelly also took the time to make up for me and tried to make my tiny “Small Sepet China Eyes” to look bigger.

Here is the end result:

Before and After.

Makeup artist: Miss Kelly Fum; Hairstylist: Ms. Kok Le Fei.

Dear Kelly and Le Fei, thank you so so much for helping me with the preparation!

Love you girls so so so so much!!!!

The hidden site of them.
