Days are just getting busier....

Yeah, the days in Semester 4 are really getting busier each day, with continuous work load increase.

I remember a year ago I went for an interview in UCSI (before enrolling myself in IMU), one of the lecturer asked me how am I going to manage my time during my pursue in Pharmacy course.
I told them that I will not let myself stuck in the room studying all the time, I will get out and do exercise, breath some fresh air.

And the lecturer replied this:"You know, when you are a pharmacy students, most of the time you don't even have the time to do the things you like. You must be prepared of that."

I was like.. Nah, that's so impossible. How busy could I be? And now, only til' now, I realised that what he said was totally true.

Maybe my time management sucks. And I've waited last minute to do all the things that I am supposed to. But how discipline can one be? I tried to be discipline, I tried to suppress my laziness, I tried to control myself from having too much fun out there.

But still, the workload just piled up...

I just finished my Medicinal Chemistry portfolio. YAW! But some of my friends completed it like few days ago... I know I know, I should be more hardworking and focus like them.

Yet, I'm so relieved that I've finally done it! hhhoooooo!

Sadly, I still can't take a break. There are tests on both Tuesday and Wednesday. And I'm ready in none. =.=

Then Monday night indian practice for the Malaysian Studies performance. Wednesday night full rehearsal. Thursday need to pass up another portfolio which I haven't write a single thing for it. Thursday night performance night.

B-U-S-Y

I've been trying my best to finish studying all the twenty plus notes. Really.

You Ming and Jason decided to come to my house to do their portfolios. They too, chose the last minute pathway.
I need to keep on reminding them to do their works (like a mommy). Otherwise, they will end up like this:

Guess what were they doing?
Watching videos about their previous Korean girl band.
I can't even remember the name of the band.

After a while, they did manage to settle down and did some work. =)

Jason came by again this afternoon. And this time, he cooked lunch. How sweet! =)
Thanks Jason!

It was a simple lunch. But it tasted great with my favourite mee suah~ Woo!

Jason the cook.

It only took him like 5 minutes to cook a bowl of mee suah.
But
The egg yolk failed. Aih, sad...

And here's the masterpiece of his work:

Ya, it was really plain. But it's the heart that counts right? =)
He spent his afternoon working really hard on his portfolio.
Although there still were times when he sneaked and watched the korean girls again
(for more than 30 minutes)
=.=

And I need to shout at him "OI! Study ar! Portfolio ar!"
Jason back on track.
Yet in the end, he gave in to his sleepy mind and collapsed onto the sofa.

Haha.
Yeah, we may be really busy and stressed now.
But with all of your friends who care for each other around, things just get better. =)
I love ya all so so much!
p/s: Thanks Jason the Hainan KIA~

Bareno Run

We had just completed our Bareno Run! WOoo!

Sharon and I, together with other fellow Bpharmers signed up for this run a few months back. We tried to train for it despite of our busy schedule.

And I even sprained my ankle while jogging last week.

I stopped wearing heels so that my ankle would heal and I would be all ready for the marathon. Guess I can start wearing them again now. YeehWoo~

We need to wake up at 6am today. Sharon called me twice. I snoozed my alarm countless of time (as usual). But still, I managed to get ready in time.

Thanks Sharon for the milo that she made for me, though I never get to finish it cos' it was still very hot and we were rushing.
Thanks honey!
Andrew suggested we drive to the stadium.
I don't understand why. It's so freaking near. =.=

Anyway, we reached there around 6.45am. There was a huge crowd, some uncles already started to warm up, jogging around with their super super short pants. No, not sexy.

Andrew was basically there to be our photographer. =)

Thank you Andrew~

Andrew and I. My eyes and face were still puffy due to lack of sleep =.=

Sharon and I. Determined to win something! Oh Yeah~

Group photos. Sweet =)

After messing around with them, it's time to do some warm up. Sharon and I were in the 5km category.
The organizers called it "fun run". Hey, it's not a fun run ok? 5km, it's challenging.
How could they call it that? It's so offensive. GGrrr.

Warming up.

Motivation rushing into my veins suddenly.

And... Ya.. I was still very sleepy then.

Waiting for the run to start was a little "gan jiong". There were quite a lot of participants in this so called "fun run".

Kids as young as 6 years old took part as well. And some of them even ran faster than me. =.=

There were so many slopes that we need to run.

Up, down, then up again, then down, flat.. Then up up up up up up.. ARh! It was so torturing!

After 40 minutes of running, the stadium suddenly came into sight again. It was such a relief!

Dashing through the finishing line was a great feeling that I have not experienced for a long long time. =)

Guess what rank I finished at?

50th!

Muahahahhahahaha!

I know it's not great. But the number is so nice! 50th, half of 100th. =P

When the guy presented me with a medal and a certificate, it somehow reminded me of the memories back in highschool. Oh boy I really miss all those sport days and cross country back then!!

The second thing that came into my mind was WHERE IS THE FREAKIN TOILET?!?!? I NEED ONE!!!

I needed to go to the toilet long before the race started but I couldn't find one. So, trying to convince my mind that I don't need to go, I finished the race.

But after that, I think my body had enough of my stupid convincing, and fought back.

My heart was still beating at a rate of 200beats/minute, sweating like mad, when I finally found a toilet and did my business. It was such a EEEWWWW experince. =.=

Anyway, most of us got ourselves medals. =)

I love group photos! We looked so athletic!

Joining such an event together with your friends is just so NICE.

Can't wait for the next one!

Here are the cert and the medal. =)

The medal. It's such a darling, isn't it? :P

We were all given a goodie bag a day before the run. T-shirts were given, together with some pain killers and muscle relaxant cream.

And all for just RM15. It's SO worth it.

How thoughtful of them!

My lucky number =)

So what's next?
Centro Klang Run? Anyone?

There is only one category to choose from. 12km. More than double what I've ran today.
Should I or should I not?

Hummmm..

So I’m already in week 8 of my semester 4 in IMU. The workload just keep on increasing, hours of staying in lecturers never stop rising, eating up your energy slowly day by day…

I remember being so motivated at the beginning of this semester. But now, look at me. I’m barely alive when it’s time for the second last lecture of the day (almost everyday), trying my very best not to doze off or wonder into my little happy wonderland during class. I seriously think I need to herbal remedy to boost my energy.

Seeing my other classmates so damn hardworking really freaks me out. I try to do my revision everyday. But most of the time I’ll be dead like a zombie when I reach home. My brain stopped working and my mind just don’t want to do anything with studies anymore.

Oh boy Marcus, seeing him in class is already stressful. Seeing him posting this on facebook is just… speechless. =.=

My table is getting messier as days past.. My room as well.. My portfolios are waiting for me to be completed.

But still, why am I still here, writing this blog? Why couldn't I be bothered with those stuffs that I am supposed to do?

Anyway, I’m loving my Malaysian studies class. Guess what we made today? Bunga telur. It’s traditionally given in malay weddings as door gifts and we are supposed to make one each, and hand it over so that they will be given to guests as door gifts as well for the performance next month.

But NO WAY I'm giving my lovely flower away! I sneaked out of class, together with Ru Yi’s special bunga and mine even before the class ends just to keep the flowers. =) Ru Yi asked me to keep hers as well. Haha!

Mine.

Ru Yi’s.

I should have taken melvin’s rose. It was really creative and it turned out like a grand fountain with fence around. Haha.. Liked it!
