Sharon was actually planning to swim that evening as she had totally forgotten about the awards. Sigh...
We were quite lucky that day as our lectures ended early, around 4pm. So we have plenty of time for us to prepare ourselves since the gates will open only at 6pm.
That was what we thought.
We left for the stadium around 5pm. And when we got out,
JAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was a training session for the Manchester United team in the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil. Fans actually paid just to see them practice.
So, knowing that we would even be later if we continue to use this road, and for sure there would not be any parking left for us by the time we reach the venue, we've decided to walk.
Then it was 5.40pm.
Walking in heels to me is a NO NO.
It was almost 6pm but still, Bel and I walked back to Vista to change clothes and shoes. We walked damn fast to Stadium Putra, thinking that we might be late.
But in the end, the gates opened only at 7.30pm. =.="
Anyway, after walking for 15 minutes, Bel and I finally reached. (Sharon and Jason were there already)
The venue: Stadium Putra
The crowd.
Fly Fm Rush Hour DJs, Jules and Prem together with an anonymous guy. They were at the entrance of Stadium Putra, giving out RM50 notes and some VVIP tickets to the awards.
The fans.
Hotlink Booth was there too. For no reasons...
And most importantly,
Us. :)
Jason and I posing with the After-Party tickets which we get to party with the celebrities.
*** Red Carpet ***
Fly Fm morning crews were first to arrive.
Ben (red t-shirt), Nadia and Phat Phabes (he was shaking fans' hands on the left, out of the photo frame :P)
Next to arrive was Joe Flizzow.
I really don't like him. He was trying so hard to speak like a black rapper. Kept using "you know.. you know.." with a fake negro accent. Come on lar, you're a Malaysian rapper who is not going to be as famous as P. Diddy.

We didn't get to witness the full red carpet moment as we rushed into the stadium once the gate was opened. It's much more important to get nice seats!
We were in there at around 7.30pm and the awards only starts at 8.30pm. So damn hungry!
Bel managed to smuggle some burgers and drinks into the stadium with the help of Jason's bag! Thanks Jason~~~

We were facing the stage and sitting just right behind the celebrities. It was really nice to see them walking around, chatting. And searching for hot celebrities!

Bunkface won the first award, couldn't remember what was it.
Bunkface. Woohoo! They won 3 awards that day.

It was really irritating and noisy! Just failed!
Jacklyn Victor. She sang MJ's songs to pay her respects. A very impressive performance!

There was also a performance by Joe Flizzow but I really dislike him so I choose not to post his photo here. Muahahahahahhahaha!
While he was performing, and while me and sharon were complaining why is he performing and not what we had waiting for...........................................
Sean Kingston arrived out of no where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is so fat.. but so cool and cute and made us crazy!!!!!
I remember the Sharon, Jason, A random Malay girl from behind and I were screaming like crazy. Hahhahaa....
The crowd went wild and nobody cares about Joe Flizzow anymorE!!!!!!!!!

He sang 3 songs, Me Love, Beautiful Girls and Fire Burning. I was still screaming....
By the time he was singing fire burning, you could tell that he is out of breath already. The song became "Somebody call (crowd sings: 911~~~), shorties fire buring on the (crowd sings: Dance floor!!!), woo oooooo" "It's fire (crowd: burning!!!), Fire (Crowd: Burning!!!)"

Then Jason and I went to the after party. We freaked out at first as we were wearing like ah lian and ah beng and everyone in the party was like so glamorous and stylo.
Then you start to forgot about all those when you see who you wanted to see. And you take photo with them!!!!!

We wanted to take photo with Miss Malaysia, Audrea, too. But she was leaving and her legs were so long that she could walk so fast! She is so tall. Taller than me by more than 2 heads.

Fu yo~ although we do not know a lot of local bands but still, seeing sean kingston performed was one of the nicest experience I had!
And I do believe that all of us enjoyed it! :)
