Finally, the exams are over. And all of us are chilling 24 hours. Semester 4 was a really really long journey. Time passed really fast in this sem and the workload, unbelievable. Countless lectures to attend, endless lab reports to submit and lengthy portfolios to be completed. And even at the last week of semester 4, we were thrown with a full stack of workload. And what made it worst was that we only had 2 weeks of study break to study more than 120 sets of notes.
That thick. And you are to finish memorising all within 14 days.
14 days of study and study and study and stuuuuuudddddyyyyy..
Most of us became zombies and most of us, were so stressed out that we were at the edge of breaking down.
The whole exam period was really torturing. 9 days of exam back to back, and even on a Saturday! It was the worst exam I’ve been through honestly. Sleeping at 11pm and waking up at 3.30am every morning. Oh boy, that’s just soooooooooooooo exhausting both physically and mentally!
I’m so glad that all these are finally over. =) And Semester 4, thought torturing, was a great semester. Your brain just won’t stop thinking and working. And with all my BP108 mates around, it was just perfect!
Special thanks to my sistas and all my Group B mates, with you guys around, life in IMU just turned into a whole new experience!
Lab Sessions
I really had a lot of fun in lab sessions with you guys =)
My crazy lab mates, You Ming and Aik Xiang.
Siapa tu kat belakang eh???
Star Wars?
Ah Long and Mun Fai (Biotech Lab)
Mun Fai with the agarose gel.
Dispensing Practicals
Dispensing practical was also a great fun with you guys around. Special thanks to Hwei Whei and Ru Yi who always got us organised during the sessions. =)
Remember all these drugs on the shelf? haha. So many of them and we need to organise them ourselves. =.=
You Ming, trying hard to pose with a BNF.
We shouldn't be discussing at all. But the love is too strong for us to do that. haha..
Our resources~ WooLah~~
Drugs to be dispensed to the patients.
I still remember the first dispensing practical we had. It was so freaking stressful as we don’t have a single clue on what should we do and how we should do it. We didn’t’ even had enough time to finish all the prescriptions. But after months of training, we managed to KILL it. :D
Industrial Visit to Hoe Pharmaceutical
Yeah, out of our busy schedule, we still need to do industrial visit. Damn.
That’s our bus driver (in yellow shirt), who got lost along the way and made us late for more than 45 minutes. =.=
One of our pharmaceutical lecturer, Mr… Oh shit, I forgot his name.. Srinivasan? No No.. ARh, just forget it.. He was in charged of taking care of us during the whole trip.
Mr. Kuan You Ming. Our trip leader~
We had a Lady Gaga-wannabe on the bus too. Ms. Isabel~
The trip was kinda fun. Get to see how they store raw materials and stuffs. And we get to wear the yellow safety caps~ woo woo~~
I think the best part of the whole visit was the refreshment and the gifts that they provided. Curry puffs man! Yum Yum Yum~
Everyone was so happy that there were refreshment cos’ we never expected that. haha.. Hungry students of IMU.
Leader, enjoying the last bite of the curry puff~
Malaysian Studies
Yeah Sem 4 is already famous for its busy time table and countless workload for quite some time. And IMU, with all it’s kind hearts, shifted Malaysian Studies from semester 5 to semester 4. How sweet of them to do that right?
Anyway, I still enjoy every lectures delivered by Mrs. Phoon, our Malaysian Studies lecturer.
She is one of the coolest lecturer I know. The way she delivered the lectures and the history of Malaysia, was way way better than most of the lecturers in IMU.
But due to our busy schedule, most of the students didn’t really pay attention to the nice story telling of hers.
Bringing notes to class to study. Forgive us, Mrs. Phoon. We really don’t have enough time.
Playing PSP? Eh Hem..
Sleeping…
Another posture of taking a nap in class..
Our assessment is based on a performance that we need to do. I joined Indian dance with my beloved sexy sistas~
Nanthini was our si fu..
Practicing every Saturdays and on weekdays for our dance.
It was tiring and yet fun. =)
Marcus came and support us as well (No, he didn’t take Malaysian Studies)
Marcus and Syok Hua, having fun in their indian dance routine.
The indian dance crew. =)
Malay Dancers.
Chinese dancers.
And the singing gang.
We had a drama as well. And You Ming was acting as a father. Oh boy i tell you, his acting, i give him 10/10. Hahaha.. Saying things like “If you want to marry her, then you are no longer my son!!!!” with much expression and emotions. Haha. Keep it up You Ming!
“Then you are no longer my son!!!”
I had a really great time preparing this performance. And thanks to Nanthini for being so patient with us. =)
Thanks to Mrs. Phoon as well. I’m gonna miss her so much!
So guys, we finally made it through! We felt like giving up so many times but we were stronger that we expected. =)
I love you guys so much!!!
See you guys in Semester 5! =)
