BEST CONCERT Ever!

I just came back from the Launch Party of Nokia Comes with Music.

I had actually given up hope in going to this event. Firstly it was so far away from my place. Secondly, Jason and You Ming had some other plans. And thirdly, I don’t want to disturb my Sista, Bel.

Then maybe my fairy godmother sensed that I want to go so much and that there’s a need for me to go, she sent me a miracle!

At around 5pm, an old friend from Kluang, Ah FU, text me in Facebook, asking me if I really want to go to the party. I was like “YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSs!!!!!!!!!!” He was planning to go as well but was in a dilemma cos’ he wanted to go back to Kluang that night itself. But since it was a “miracle”, everything went well and that he decided to screw his plans to go back hometown and to join me in the event!!!!!

Who would ever imagine Ah Fu and I going to a concert together? Haha. I haven’t seen him for ages!!!

It was all so sudden and I did not have enough time to get ready. I was too excited that I screamed in my room for 10 seconds, smiling all the way and I couldn’t even manage to have my dinner!

By the time he came and pick me up, it was already 6.30pm and it was a hell of a jam every where!

Ah Fu is a really pro KL  driver. Cutting through the jams like no one’s business. Phiew~

It took as an hour to reach there.

The crowd was huge! And we had to park by the highway. YES, by the highway!!!

 

We were so worried about the vouchers that they will be giving out. Vouchers that give you the chance to get a Nokia X6 which is worth RM2999 for only RM66!!! We tried our best to stay positive, comforting ourselves that there’ll be extra vouchers left for us there.

After successfully getting an illegal parking by the highway, I asked a passer-by where to get the vouchers. He said out loud very joyfully: “Oh, that vouchers?? Finished already loh!! Finished a long time ago!” DONG DONG DONG DUM DUNG DUM!!!! My heart went crashing down!!!! AARRRHHH!!! Ah FU and I were like OH NOOOO NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

SO, our first intention to be there had ruined. But since we came all the way, through the jams, we decided to stay for the concert.

And I never expected that I would enjoy it so so much! It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been too. Better than the All American Rejects concert organised by DIGI.

Maybe partly is due to the very nice position that we had. Right next to the VIP area. And also, the venue was air-conditioned! WOo!!!

We were so close to the stage! And the VIP area was so empty the whole night! Wasted the space. GGRRR!!

There were booth advertising for the new Nokia X6 and they were giving out brochures for it. Which only reminds us more that we are NOT going to get them tonight. Sad.

Nice phone. But not for us. Haih..

Utt was again the host. Oh Utt, he’s so handsome!

He came down to the VIP area several times, giving out goodies bags and chatting with his friends. And from where I was standing, I could see him clearly. It was so so near! But thanks to my lousy camera, most of the photos I took were either too dark or blur. =.= Potong Stim betul.

But HE WAS REALLY REALLY HOOOOOOTTTT!!!!!!

Before the concert actually started, DJ goldfish and DJ Nikki were doing their best to remix songs. And they were fantastic! Feel like I was clubbing with all my sistas! But too bad they weren’t there.

So again, local bands were included in the party. I was clever enough not to take any photos of them (in order to save the battery of my lousy pinky camera). There was once when the crowd just ignored them and screamed as the Boys Like Girls had just arrived and were having some photo shoot sessions upstairs, where we could see from below.

 

See that department where is full of yellow lights? That was where Boys Like Girls appeared.

 

The photos are in really bad shape. But who cares, Boys Like Girls are still in them!

The performances from Khalil Fong (Fang Ta Tong) who is from Hong Kong or Taiwan? I don’t know. Were really great! He sang Sing Along Song, Ai Ai Ai (Love Love Love) and two more which I never heard before.

All of his songs were so romantic and “LUM~~” Got to download his songs!!

And so, a ballot was carried out throughout the night to select the lucky 66 recipients with coupons to redeem the phone at RM66.

Here are the first 22 recipients. And AGAIN, it crush our hearts!! Sour reminder that we weren’t gonna get our hands on it! I even take the time to withdraw money from IMU ATM machine in case I’m selected! FFFFFFFF…

Anyway, just screw it. I need to enjoy my night partying!

We didn’t need to wait for a long time for Boys Like Girls to start their performances. As expected, the crowd went wild when they were on stage, so was I! =P

They started their performance by singing I Got A Feeling, Rocker style. SYOK!

They sang 8 songs in total. And they were all GREAT!!

The best of all was when he sang Two Is Better Than One.

“I want to sing a love song now. And it’s a love song to you all” Martin said.

Oh~ My heart just melted and evaporated into the atmosphere when he sang that song. ARRH~~

MArtin has a habit in changing guitars for each songs.

He changed his guitar into a red one when he sang that. Red=love=sweet=melted heart.

They invited this Taylor Swift-wannabe to sing a few sentences. What’s the point huh? She left after that, not even finishing the song.

I only managed to get a few clear photos of him. And the videos.. Just forget about it. Should put a new camera in my wish list.

“I want ya all to have a FUCKING good time now. It will be the last song for tonight. I wanna see people surfing in the crowd, you guys jumping like mad alright????”

That was what he said when he sang the last song, Great Escape, aw sad.

Martin came down from the stage, hopped over the bar (like a stunt man) and approached the crowd.

 

The crowd went WILD.

This was the very 1st time that I saw him in such a close distant!! Just a few meters away! ARH!! But too bad he went to the middle session, stood on something and sang real loud to the crowd, with his bodyguards holding his jeans to give him support.

His jeans slipped a little, and it was then, I saw his ass!!!!! Arh! Sexy ass!!!! Too bad my camera is so freaking not efficient! Otherwise I could take photo of it and save it as my mobile phone wall paper!

So, I’m unable to get a new Nokia phone, failed to take photo together with Utt, failed to get a Nokia goody bag.. what else can I do? Ask a Rela Uncle to give me his badge for souvenir!!! Hahaha.

Ya, I randomly approached a Rela Uncle (the one on the left in the photo), looked at him through the eyes, and asked for his security badge. I guessed he couldn’t resist my innocent-looking face, and Whooaala! Here it is!

I think next time I should try that to get myself into those VIP sitting areas. =P

=) It was a really GREAT night! And it all thanks to Ah Fu! Without him, I will never even get close to the party, enjoying Boys Like Girls performaces and even seeing Martin’s sexy butt! Thank You Ah Fu!!!!!!!!!!
